At The Beach

I've stretched out upon the beach,
The sun drips into me.
Upon my dried lips a forgotten song,
I'm living the gentle life.

I'm carried away by the wind,
I'm thrown into the air and gone,
Right now, in far places,
I'm separating from the useless bustle of life.

Not an atomic bomb,
But a platonic love.
My hope is for the future, I'm on vacation!

In one hand I've got a mirror,
Even a poet would be jealous of me.
I'm sunburned through and through, I'm at the beach!
